About: I am a health economist from the global south leading in the design of evaluation protocols and costing tools, data collection and high-quality economic cost analyses. My work has mainly focused on advancing the development and use of rigorous economic evaluation methods to produce high quality costing data that informs policymakers, funders and implementors on design, funding, roll-out and scale-up of effective public health interventions. I have worked as the in-country Health Economist on several economic evaluations in collaboration with health economics researchers from several top universities and health economics institutes including University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Pennsylvania, LSHTM, LSTM, INSP Mexico, University of York and UNAIDS. In addition to methods development my work has further contributed to greater understanding of the economic cost barriers that deter public health service availability (supply side) and uptake (demand side).
