Ismail Nasiru is a Registered Nurse and native of Kano State, Nigeria. He started his nursing education at School of Nursing, Kano where he graduated with General Nursing Diploma (RN) in 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (Hons) from prestigious Ahmadu Bello University and a degree of Master of Health Economics from Bayero University Kano as a result of his passion for STRICT policy implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of healthcare programmes/projects. He attended several national and international Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses in prestigious institutions including; Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria, World Health Organization, University of Washington, USA, Health[e]Foundation, The Netherlands and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Ismail is currently a student of MSc Nursing Administration at Bayero University Kano. He works as Nurse clinician with Kano State Hospitals Management Board from 2001 - present. He is a member of the NANNM and UGONSA.
