During this lecture, Samuel Lordemus introduces a number of econometric methods which can be used by practitioners to evaluate the effects of an intervention or a programme in low-income countries. The video also provides an introduction to the Instrumental Variable (IV) strategy and gives practical recommendations on implementing the IV method successfully, using examples found in the Development Economics literature.
